Ok my girlfriend has a 92 eclipse turbo with 205,000 miles and the engine was rebuilt last year. Just recently the thing started running like crap. Out of nowhere the car will start hesitating real bad in any gear and any rpm and the boost will fluctuate considerabely, then 2 minutes later the car will be fine and boost fine with no problems. Soon after this started the check engine light came on. We ran the codes and it threw the coil and the airflow sensor, specifically the barometer sensor i guess. First we put in a new coil but that didn't help so we put a whole airflow sensor in and it did the same thing. Ran the codes again and it said the new one was bad too. (Didn't think much of it cuz we got it from a junkyard) So we put a brand new one in and it didnt help either. Now the car won't even start so we took it to a shop to have it worked on. The guy at the shop decided it was the ECU through a couple more tests, so my gf bought a new ECU and it the check engine light went off and we thought everything was fine. Drove it home and never ran better. But tonight it was raining and we drove it about an hour away and on the way home it started hesitating again and we felt no boost but about 5-10 minutes later it fixed itself and ran fine. I dont know what it's problem is but my gf has spent about a grand on parts and labor and the car still has the same prob, needless to say shes pissed. any ideas??

Basic maintenance...plugs, wires, belts, fuel filter, compression check, etc...ALWAYS a good place to start, and not terribly expensive .:thumb:
