My driverside motor mount is broken (rubber area only). What are my options here? Obviously I could get one from Mitsu, but what about the inserts? Do they actually replace that entire rubber piece, or is a good mount needed to use them?

I'm planning on getting the prothate insert kit...does the old mount press out and the prothane replace it...or does it just insert around the rubber to stiffen it (like hondas...which I would need a good mount to use anyway)

taking out the motor mount takes awhile. u have to knock out the ring that holds the rubber. if u look carfully u can see theres two layers. the outside metal and the inner layer. use a screw driver and split the metal so it will fall out. i cant really explain in specific detail but if u have any problems AIM me and i will try to help u as much as i can. there a website RRE that tell u how to remove it i think.
