The idle on my GVR4 has ben real screwy...first I have a CEL but can't diagnose it until my Palm shows up and I can log the car. (CEL came on a couple weeks ago, car idle was normal). Anyway, on a cold start the car starts then stalls immediately and the only way it will hold and idle is if I hold the gas to like 1500 for a minute or so...once I let off it settles and the car is fine. Every few days I have to play with the idle speed adjustment...the car won't idle consistently for more than a couple of days. sometimes its high and I set the idle speed down then after a day or so it's low and stalls and I have to let the screw out. will a bad idle control unit set off a CEL? There aren't any vacuum leaks I can see or hear, the car boosts well and there aren't many vacuum lines left anyway, I'm running a VPC, AFC, 660'cc's.

Thanks!!

Jon
