I just bought this '90 Talon turbo car in a semi-non-running condition. Very poor running, check engine light is on, spark plugs are sooty black. The trouble codes I get are :
MAS
IAT sensor
TPS
ECT sensor
Baro sensor
Knock sensor

I assume that all six sensors didn't go out all at the same time. The ECU in the car is a junkyard/rebuilt one. It ran fine up until about a month ago. I hate to throw another ECU in it if that's not the problem. I also don't want to ruin another ECU if there's something knocking it out. Any geniuses out there who've something similar to this? The cam timing is right on, BTW.

Thanks, guys!

All the sensors but the knock sensor run through the same power wire. You have a short/open in the power wire leading to the MAS plug.

The knock sensor error is due to the sensor not being plugged in. Check the connector. It is under the intake manifold. It should be mounted to the intake manifold support bracket.

AWDriven.
