Ignition coil

Hey everyone...Newbie here with a big problem.
I have a '91 Laser 1.8 which all of a sudden stopped running. I discovered there was no spark so I first changed the dist. cap and rotor. Still nothing. I don't recognize the ignition coil, but figure if I bought a new one I could then identify it. Or so I thought. I picked up a new coil from NAPA and cannot find this thing anywhere on the car.

I think they must have given me the wrong one, or I'm not looking in the right place. Can anyone tell me what the coil looks like on a 1.8 and where it is located???

Follow-up to above post.
I discovered that what NAPA gave me was the coil for a distributorless engine.
Now I need further help in troubleshooting the problem.
The car ran fine, then wouldn't start due to no spark...let it sit for about an hour then ran fine for about 3 days...now won't start due to no spark. I've checked all wires for a short or open....found none.
Does this have an internal coil in the distributor? I am like so totally confused now !!
Any ideas?? ECM ?
