Here are all the performance mods on my car:
intake, U/L IC piping, ported evo exhaust mani, 2.5" turboback (02 elim), FP big28, 1G BOV, 190lph fuel pump (3000GT I think), Hallman MBC.

I couldn't get my MBC to boost me past 11PSI after I got all the latest stuff installed (Downpipe, mani, turbo, pump). I didn't unscrew my MBC as far as it would go, but I gave it several full turns and it wouldn't increase the boost. I think there was another turn or two in there. Anyway, me and a friend adjusted the waste gate rod to get more boost. Now, I can't seem to get anything in the range of 13-20. I either get 11-13, or it shoots past 20. I turn the screw like 10 degrees or less and it shoots the boost up like crazy. Is the wastegod rod tightened too much?

In is sort of ambiguous. I loosen the screw to increase boost, and tighten it to decrease boost...

Wow, I am an idiot. The first little bit that I loosened the screw raised the boost about 2PSI, so I assumed I should keep loosening. Tightening did nothing. So, I tightened the controller all the way, then loosened it about a turn and a half. Bam, problem solved. I'm now running at a solid 17PSI with the A/F gauge reading all the way to the max. I'm not going to try and run higher considering all I have is a 3000GT fuel pump and a FRAM fuel filter. I might even turn it down to 16 for daily use. I'm a tweaker at heart though (Not just with cars, with everything), so I talk like I care about safety, but act like a tweaker. Thanks for responding to my newbiness. =)

wow, i always see you reply first with great answers, good work and keep em coming!
