Possible causes of no spark??

If the cam angle or crank sensors are damaged then you won't get any spark. Actually I think your car won't even crank if your crank angle sensor is broken, don't quote me on that though. Other things...... power transistor, ECU, or bad coil packs (both would have to be simultaneously bad which isn't likely) could cause it. If you have a buddy with a turbo 1G than see if they will allow you to test your CAS, coil packs, and power transistor in their car. Also you can test your ECU in it, would make your life a lot easier to start checking off what works and what doesnt.

thanks for the advance

i had same problem with mine.i would do a compression test try it and trust me.i was not getting a spark and i replaced the coil packs angle sensor and all that good stuff.so just give that a try

if its your crank angle sensor you would get no spark or fuel and it would just turn over and not start, i had 2 go bad

there should be.i know on the 2g u got to take the cover off and it is betwween the gears u would think it would be the same on the 1g.well keep posting let us know how it gos

i was under the assumption all 4g63's have crank sensors, the harness is on the back of the engine on the camgear side and the wire goes under the timing belt and weaves down to along the edge of the crank, and the sensor sits on the edge so it can see every time the crank rotates once, but that was on my 2g.....i thouht 1g's have one too

No, that's the whole beauty of the 1G in a 2G swap. That's why RRE was trying to machine 2G front cases to hook up to the 6bolt block. But utilizing the 1G CAS, the results are the same.
