Hey guys. I have read dozens and dozens of threads on dsmtuners and teamnabr trying to figure out my problem, and I think I have an idea of what it is. I am going to describe the problem first to see if you guys think the same thing. First, let me start from the top. I drive a Mitsubishi Galant 1998 ES. It comes stock with the 4G64 engine. I swapped to a 2G turbo DOHC head, 2G CAS, 2G power transistor, 2G turbo ECU, the works. I had the car running before but it was running pretty rich because it has 450cc in an N/A car. (I'd say about 15% rich during some RPM points). Anyway, the car was running fine for about a month just slightly rich because I bought an AFC and it hadn't arrived yet. Anyway, a few things went wrong, my radiator went out, my ISC was bad and smoked my ECU, and my 2G CAS broke. Needless to say I replaced them all, except this time around I got a 1G CAS installed wired according ot RRE's guide. I also swapped the injector wires like it says to in their guide. Anyway, my car started up. Cool, tuned it somewhat just trying to get some decent base percentages, about -15-25% to get it running stoic in the lower rpms. Now, this is my problem. The 1G CAS is aligned with the bolt right in the center which I was led to believe is stock timing. Anyway, when I put my car into drive the car starts shaking, I replaced spark plugs, wires, none of that changed anything. If I touch the throttle the car doesn't sound too good, sounds like it has a huge hole in the exhaust or something. After doing a lot of research I have come to the conclusion that my ignition timing must be off due to the 1G CAS. I flipped it 180 degrees but it started and acted the same exact way. What do you guys think might be wrong here? I would like to try getting the ignition timing correct but I have never done it before and I am a bit hesitant to mess around with it. The car ran before the 1G CAS which is the only major difference from when it ran normally and now. Thanks, any help is appreciated.

hi,

i'm trying to get my mitsubishi galant 2000 ES automatic trans. (engine code 4g64) wiring diagram - For the AFC on a 2G 4G64 ECU, I used the following:

ECU pin 25 - AFC power
ECU pin 26 - AFC ground (brown and black ~10cm apart)
ECU pin 58 - AFC RPM
ECU pin 84 - AFC throttle
*ECU pin 90 -AFC airflow (there are two AFC wires for this connection since you are intercepting the airflow signal).

If any wiring diagram is available in the future' pls. add on this replies' appreciated. or any avc-r ...installation for 4g64 galant 00 automatic trans.
