how do you test injectors ? car is 90 eagle talon tsi turbo awd . no mods , all stock .

-By listenning for the ticking sound from each injector.
-By testing the resistance between the 2 terminals on the injector.

Tested with ohm meter . Chiltons said for a turbo , resistance should be 2-3 ohms . I get less than 1 on all four .

 ok waht size are stock injectors ? what should i replace them with ? they are apparently history . as i stated before , i am stock . it is 90 talon turbo tsi awd . @120,000 miles

-I'm not sure about the 90, but on the 91, injector size is 450 for 5 speed and 390 (I think) for auto.

Do you think the're bad? What makes you want to check them? To listen for the ticking, the easiet way is to put a large screwdriver against the injector while its running and listen for the ticking sound by putting your ear on it.

very hard starting . replaced cas a week ago . ecu , timing belt , timing , fuel pressure all check out . fuel pump is working and filter is new . while checking these a connector on injector was damaged by someone . i didn't think it was getting enough fuel to start , so i checked the injectors . like i said resistance should have been 2-3 for a turbo , i get far less than 1 .

I've had the same problem with my injectors. I can hear a faint clicking noise, but when i checked for resistance im not getting anything?>?>? maybe im doing it wrong but im trying to follow the haynes manual, but i get nothing? Any suggestions?
