Weird problems on 1G AWD TSi

Couple unusual little things I've noticed -

1. The car dies randomly when I have the clutch in. It can be going 20 mph or stopped, and it doesn't matter whether it's hot or cold. I think this might be because of one of the free mods, I'm not sure though...

2. Just today the car started feeling weird - it would build full 10psi, but it didn't feel like it was boosting at all. Also, the exhaust note sounds a little funny and is now not "resonating" but more in front of me than around me... what the ####. I would say my stupid mexican neighbors jammed something up my tailpipe but I think it's kinda hard to clog a 4" inlet & 3" piping w/o noticing it...

What free mods did you do? I would start with the obvious. Check for boost leaks.

my car did the same thing, and i ended up pulling the ecu out and i had leaking capacitors. you might want to check that out too.
