Ok so today i was driving around and noticed that the shifting was very "clunky". I kept driving around and when parking i noticed that reverse would always grind... i guess its time to buy a new tranny so my question is, is there any place to get a good price on the new tranny... its for a 95 turbo AWD Talon, so im guessing the FWD tranny wont work, but please corect me if im wrong. Thanks in advance for any future advise.

ill be checking the fluids tomarrow first thing, but ive tried the car again and now it seems that the tranny is working correctly, maybe it was something else, one person told me that maybe it has to do with the shifter, its a short shifer... is this possible? Well hopefully it will stay good, im also gono have it looked at soon. THanks for the response though.

this sounds normal, so how did ur tranny fluid look? im guessing ur short shifter has something to do, maybe the shift fork is bent? my reverse tends to grind unless i jam it in there. but arent alot of the manual trannys like this on reverse?

well tranny fluid looks normal, car still working good, i hope my reverse wont mess up on me again. Anyway if anyone has an idea of y this happened or if they think that soon my tranny will go , please let me know

try putting it into 4th or something then into reverse, i have to put my car into 2nd then into first, werid but it works
