92 GSX. I'm receiving a hum from the engine as the accelerator is depressed. More I press it, the louder the humming gets. Sound like a pump to you guys? Thoughts?

Thanks D. So according to u and some others, I have an exhaust leak for the tapping and an intake leak for the hum as i accelerate. I'm going to bring the car to RRE to have it examined. I was boosting and listening to teh stock turbo an blow-off and it sounds a lot quieter than before. Would this be because of a possible exhaust leak?

I won't even venture a guess on volume levels of the turbo and its system. Mine seems to change just from popping the hood. I think it's like tuning a violin or something, the noises seem very susceptible to change.
Have you gone over the intake yourself, looking for leaks?

Hehe, good call. Yeah I've put my hear to the grinder, but I haven't used a pressure tester. The hum isn't that big of a deal right now, I gotta definitely get that awful exhaust leak repaired. RRE here I come.
