OK, my gsx was built in Feb. of 92 which led me to believe that I had the 6 bolt engine. Anyway I ordered the gasket for the oil filter bracket because mine was leaking. When I got it in it was the wrong one. I called the parts dept. back and they said that 89-05/92 all took the same oil filter bracket. They also said that the 05/92-94 took a different part # so I oredered that hoping it will fit. The part # I got is MD149370 & MD185528 is the one on order now. Does anyone know what's up with my car? I also happened to have the oil filter bracket off of a 90 engine in my parts bin, the one without the fluid cooled unit on it and the gasket that they sent me fit that perfectly. So that raises another question. Are the oil filter brackets for the 90's and 91-92's the same because one is fluid cooled and the others are not. Sorry for the long explanation guys. Please help....

I understand that they are different but do they both take the same gasket that mounts the bracket itself to the engine block?
