I have a 90 Talon TSi FWD and im having a hard time figuring out whats wrong here. When you start the car it goes crazy...does not keep an idle, up and down revs, check engine light comes on and ive checked it already and there is no code. I sounds ruff when it runs unless I get it above 3000rpms then it runs smooth. I put the code scanner on it and there is no code but it said the voltage level was low goin into the computer (9.8 on run, and 8.5 on key on position with car off). What im thinkin is that there is a wire problem somewhere between the battery and the computer...but could I be wrong? Some ppl tell me that its the cam angle positioning sensor but Im not sure? Someone please help me? Any suggestions would be great! And what about a logger? Would that tell me anything....possibly a vaccum leak?

Thanks.......

you could try the alternator or PCV valve, but i am also having a problem with my electrical in a 2g. my brake light and battery light are comin on.

Wanna hear some electrical problems?

My blinkers dont work
My hazards work half the time
I blow a fuse every week for my park lights
One of my fans work, unless you turn on the a/c then they both work
My dimmer doesnt work
My head lights pop up and down and stick half way while I'm just driving down the road
And I keep blowing relay's everytime I try to rewire the fuel pump

I am just waiting for it to catch fire from all those shorts one of these days

have you checked your ECU for leaky capaciters?, have you checked the battery and alternator? my 1g is having some major electrical issues and idle issues too. im going to have O-reilys check my alternator and battery and then ill be doing 3 different treatments for my idle surge. Not to mention getting my ecu rebuilt by the vfaq man.
