I have a problem with getting the boost to full prior to 5000 rpm. I checked the travel of the arm and it seems to close it all the way, but I am wondering if the gate itself could be warped or burnt and how do I replace it if it is?
The number on the intake side of the turbo is TD05H and I am wondering if this was a standard transmission turbo or an automatic transmission turbo. I am with the understanding that the two motors came with different turbos, am I right?
I beleive the guy before me swapped a standard motor into the automatic car. Is there a way of identifying the two different motors if in fact they are different? Any help would be greatly appreciated!
