turbo timer

So i just installed my Blitz turbo timer. when i start the engine it works fine and all teh displays look good and such. but it doesnt run my car for me after I shut it off? I have an aftermarket alarm. will that effect it?

Don't know about Blitz, but is your parking brake engaged? I have a HKS and the parking brake has to be on in order for it to work.

I did not connect the e-brake line for it says it's a "safety feature" does that mean I dont need it?

you need it. hook it up, engage the parking brake and you're in business.

-I'm not sure for your brand of TT, but on a GReddy, it's possible to turn on/off the e-brake feature, but I hook up mine, so the motor stop as soon as the e-brake drop, good theft prevention.

huh? I'm confused. When the car starts idling after the ebrake is engaged, and someone disengages the ebrake the car will shut off?

-Yes, TT is just a count down timer , it keep the motor running however long your setting is after you have remove the key, that e-brake wire can be hook up to either the e-brake or the clutch switch(5 sp) any switch that you must push/disengage so the car can move, the TT will shut off it's count down if that switch is trip.

Hmmm well I ordered my Greddy Full TT from Horsepowerfreaks.com should be here by Friday. I'm trying to find out if the speed functions are accurate though.
