No boost, yet, yes boost!

Okay, this can be moved if I'm in the wrong place. If not here it goes:

Okay, I no longer hear my turbo spooling up. It has been quite noticeable since I got rid of my air box and so on. Now I don't hear hardly anything, yet my autometer gauge is still reading both consistent vacuum and boost readings.

Maybe it is just me, but it doesn't seem to be hitting as hard when it is boosting at max (mbc set to 15-16 psi) as it used to. Maybe it is all in my head since I don't hear the sound I don't feel the boost. BOV is still working when it is supposed to and as "loud" as it has been.

Is this all in my head? I assume a vacuum leak is out since my guage is reading the same vacuum/boost.

is your gauge reading 15-16 psi of boost? you might have a boost leak. pressure test your whole system. if your not hearing your turbo as much it could be in the intake.

i don't know, my car plays games with my head. when i first got it, it use to be the fastest thing in the world to me, but then i got used to the speed and i thought something was broke, but it wasn't.

Sorry, I think I worded it stupid. It maxes out at 15/16 psi. Then I let off the gas and it drops back down into to vacuum side of the gauge, shift, gas, works its way up to 15/16, then repeat....does that help?

if the bov is the same, and the boost guage is readin the same its probally just in your head....i know on my non turbo it had a real loud exhaust and i jsut got used to it and it didnt seem as loud

Yeah, it could just be me, but that means I am developing a tolerance which means I need to get more to get my "fix". Hmm, now I guess I have to buy something else to up the boost. Here comes a fuel pump and some injectors...damn addiction.
