ok, Im blowing white smoke at higher rpms and when I let it idle for awhile it gets real bad... I did a compression check and its 190 across the board except in the no 3 piston, where it reads 120... there is a bad crack in my exhaust manifold on the no. 3 tube... was wondering if that would cause the smoke and loss of compression... if not, could someone help me out here?
thanks in advance

P.S. it is a 2.0 N/T

white smoke usually means coolant. my gsx did pretty much the same thing. i am in the middle of a head gasket change. hopefully that is not your problem. check your coolant & see if there is oil in it & do the same with the coolant. another way that people check for a blown hg is by pulling the coolant cap off while running & look for bubbles. *do this with the engine cool though. 120 is low

well, im not mixing coolant and oil, which is a good sign, what I am currently thinking is Im just dripping oil into the #3, im going to order a set of valve seals this week, and hope that fixes it... I'll keep you posted on if it works...

Thanks for the reply
