well i kinda had a little post about this in the hangout, but im gunna post my questions here. OK, to make a long story short, on a ride home my oil filter came loose, lost all oil, stuck it in neutral and tried to get home cuz i was soooo close, well finally i was about 100 yards from my parking spot, she just shut off. I think it siezed, but not for sure. She still cranks but it definately doesn't sound right. Its hot as hell outside so i haven't done too much looking around, but here's what i can tell you, when i crank it, it cranks over REALLY easy, like way to smooth and easy, in a way almost feels like pistons aren't moving. But the crank pulley spins, all the like alternator and power steering pulleys and all those pulleys still spin when i turn the key. The cam gears where the timing belt is, those do not spin, they just kinda click and don't move, just kinda go tick tick tick. Anyone have any clues. I mean im pretty sure the engine is gunna have some major issues, but just trying to figure out exactly what is bad, because its like the crank pulley turns and all the other belts do too, but the cams dont, kinda confusing to me. well anyway thanx for reading, im having the best weekend ever so far...NOT

-Your timing belt is strip at the crank, so the cam won't turn. The last time my oil cooler cam loose, I shut off about 10 seconds after I saw the smoke coming out from the back, I tighten the oil filter back up, put in more oil, but the knock is getting louder, it finally seize about 40 miles later.

ok so now another question, if the crank pulley is spinning, then would that mean that my engine is prolly not siezed then, its just that my timing belt is stripped by the crank and i just need to replace that, and prolly replace the head since the valves are prolly destroyed now? i mean if the crank pulley is spinning, to me that means it aint siezed, but hey there's things even i don't know, and this is one of em, so any help would be great. Basically i've been getting this car in near perfect shape to sell it. I want it to be in great shape so that way whoever buys it doesn't get screwed. But if the engine is siezed, then im prolly just gunna part it out. But if its just the T-belt got stripped, then ill just put a new T-belt on it and new head and see if that fixes it. anywho thanx for the help, i gotta pass out now.
