93 TSi with a 91 TSi engine. Trans locked and timing belt slipped. Trans rebuilt. Changed timing belt. Did not slip more than one tooth. Checked compression. Compression good. 149-151. Car had been sitting for a year.

Engine has less than 3000miles on it, trans has less that 100 at time of incident.

Symptoms: Symtoms similar when hot or cold. Low boost, MBC set at 16, boost max is 11. A/F ratio gauge indicates lean 90% of time. No check engine light. Runs rought with a slight knocking noise. During decelaration car dies. even if reved up high, during RPM drop car dies.some oil in turbo. checked base timing, checked vacuum hoses. No leak found. Suspect bad head gasket between cylinders, and bad clutch. Probably bad turbo too since it has about 100k on it. Please help, I am coming home from deployment soon and would like to have a car.
