My factory tach just started to act all weird 2 days ago.
This is what it does.
When I floor it in gears, it looks like it's sticking to the rpm where it was before flooring and all of sudden jump over 2000rpm. For example, I would be driving on a highway. 3000rpm, constant speed. I floor it but the tach needle goes 3000,3100, 3150, and all of sudden 5500rpm. Sometimes it goes back and forth between 4000 and 5000 rpm. I guess it's kinda hard to describe it.
It's sticky and jumpy.
Anybody else experienced this???
