Belts poping off

[95 esi 90 AWD]

OK what the ####. FOR the third time the belt that controls the power steering poped off. This time i was about 15 minutes from home(most of the time its less then a mile form home) What the hell is going on. DOes this happen to anyone else. All I know is that its a bi*** to get it back on. I put the tensioner really tight every time. Is it telling me I need a new tensioner.

Check your Crank pully, Mine Broke on my Galant and It made my Alternator and AC belts to Fly off, My Crank pully would move in and out, Check it. Its the Last thing I thought of when the belts kept of poping off, I put my ALT belt of REALLY tight, and It didnt matter.

My engine is the 420A. The AC belt didnt go off. But I am going to chech right now ill post back after i look.

I cnt see it. the plastic is in the way and I dont have time to jack it up right now.

Check it when you have time, I can almost bet thats the problem. I would HIGHLY Suggest DONT drive with it,

Ok i just jacked her up and looked. The crank pulley l0ooked normal. Did your belts keep poping off right after another? mine pop off like 3-4 months apart

It would pop off one after another, some times rip them right down the middle of the Belt, funky shit man, Its probly ur tensioner.

Yeah thats what im thinking. I guess thats better then a bad crank pulley.
