i have a 90 eclipse awd with: 2 1/2 in busheur full race exhaust, huge stainless o2 housing, 2g mass, s-afc, 16g turbo, 550 injectors, 255 lp walbro fuel pump. i am running just 12 lbs of boost. my engine was running great till i put 550 injectors in. i could only run like 14 lbs of boost with the stock injectors, so i put 550's in. well now by car sounds like a tommy gun whenever i step on it. it will do it at low rpms too! like 2000 rpm. if i ease into it i can get 10 lbs of boost out of the bi*** with out a pop, but if i even think about flooring it, "Tommy Time"! i put my old injectors back in, and low and behold the same damm problem! i am going to shit on the motor soon! i checked the vaccume lines, but all's well. the only other thing that i did was pull one plug to look at my burn. i power braked it, and no misses. so i think the wires are good! HELP!:dsm:
 
IMHO, your probably in the wrong forum, but I'll leave that to the mods... ;)
So, did you do all of your mods, drive it and THEN put in your injectors? or did your injectors and fuel pump go in together? The reason I'm asking is, you don't show an FPR in your list of mods. A stock FPR tends to get overun by a 255lph pump, which can raise fuel pressure uncontrollably.

Also, you pulled a plug to check the burn, how did it look? Was it black and sooty?
 
you need a fpr with that whalbro pump you have, withou one your fp is uncontrollable, and will do whatever it wants to. The safc wont do anything really without that fpr.
 
If it does same problem with both sets of injectors how can it be injectors.
check leads,plugs,vacume leaks in that order.
 
I had this problem with my 90 TALON - it turned out my plugs where misfiring , the coil pack seems to be week on the 90. A set of nonresistor motorcycle plugs fixed the problem. It looks to me like in my case a ignition system is needed but the cycle plugs pulled me threw for now.
