ok so i got a 97 tsi automatic and my tranny once it warms up it doesnt move anymore like the clutches are slipping but the moron ass tranny shops around here insit its a tranny filter but i dont think it is i mean my filter aint the best looking but i dont think its the problem how would it let it work cold but not warm and help???

Your post was a little confusing but it sounds to me like what your saying is when you drive it, the transmission feels like it is slipping. Replacing the filter will not fix problems such as clutch packs, etc. Is your fluid redish in color or is it more black? If it is more black and smells burnt it sounds like it could be your clutch packs gone bad.

no my fluid is perfectly red doesnt smell burnt or anything it doesnt slipp once it gets warm saydrive 100 ft the tranny just lets completly go doesnt move at all till it cools back down its god me lost i wanbna put shotgun holes in the car here soon
