Finally got a logger on my 1g. Its showing the ftrl and ftrh both stuck at 118.7% FT02 was swinging up to 150% but after awhile it sat at 100 and wouldnt move. I drove and sat and sat and sat, had to kick on the ac fans to cool it. Temp ranged from 100c to 112c. Idle was 600 to 800. O2 was moving from .40v to .55v but would hit 0v when the idle dropped after shutting down the ac fan.

When I 1st hooked up the logger it didnt knock when I reved it. Timing sits around 9 to 12 at idle. Increases sharply with revs/rpm. It knocks before I even get to 0 boost, and at the end it'd knock some when I reved it. Trims would not move, fuel pressure is correct. I have checked base timing and will do again.

The reason I didnt post the info is because my laptop took a poo when I unplugged the usb cable!!!! 30 mins gone. Any ideas?, I fixed my boost leaks before I did this.

Car is stock except for a mbc, boost guage and hacked air can.

Well I checked timing again and it was set at 15 btdc, moved it to 5 btdc, must have thought that mark was 5 this spring. Less knock but the trims still are not moving. Idle at 1000rpm, temp 93c, o2 sitting from .3v to .45v. Maybe its shot then? It does go right to 0v when you rev it.

After sitting a long time again, the only thing that is not true for learn mode is the vacuum. At idle its 16 inhg, at a 2k idle its almost 20. Baro doesnt adjust on the mmcd logger, just sits at .98 bar.

Well I drove it around today, o2 is swinging low to high. Not sure what the deal was, maybe all I had to do was drive it and not idle. It finally started adjusting ftrl(110%) and ftrm(99%). Ft02 swings crazy, I assume thats the o2 sensor. Car still knocks under heavy throttle not even into boost and low rpm cruise if you lug it at all. I'm going to put 5 gals of 93 in it tonight, I give up trying to burn that 89 out of it. I can't imagine how bad it was when the timing was that far off. I'm lucky to still have a headgasket. I thought the ecu was suppose to drop timing?

OK I'm lost. Put 93 in it, drove around. Its better but still get 1 hit of knock here and there under normal driving, sometimes it'll peg 4 to 8 hits. I cant even get on this car at all, I tried to boost again and once again it killed plugs. I hit 5k and knock was like 5, then of course i'm driving a 2 or 3 cylinder car. WTF. Any ideas on what to check next. Base timing 5, fuel is right on. No boost leaks, but i'm going to check again.

I think its too late. Pulled the plugs, none bent this time. Runs like crap and I hear metal, running a compression test now. Probably dropped a valve. TOAST.

UPDATE: #1 90psi 110 with oil #2 140 #3 150 #4 150

What can that be? With a dead valve wouldn't I be at 0psi?
