check enging light on then shuts off when i push on the gas

i have a 91 talon with the 4g63 and a 20g turbo and i cant figure out why my check engine light will pop on then shut off when i push on the gas pedal about like 10% throttle. anyone know why this would happen?

Your ECU does. Read the codes it's stored.

What's the TPS voltage at idle?
It sounds like yours is either misadjusted or worn out.
Do you know how to test it?

I had the same problem, only mine disappeared at a higher throttle position. It turned out to be a bad tps, like steve is saying, so I replaced it and I get no more CEL's. Car also stuttered a lot before.

^^^but like said above, get some diagnostic codes from your ecu, it will really help pinpoint the problem.
