Ok guys here is the deal, I bought a '97 GST about a week ago (car is stock other than the suspension). Car was running great until yesterday when my brother in law and i installed a boost gage, then started messing around with the intake MAF sensor to try to move the fuse box. But nothing that would trigger such a thing.

After the installation we took it for a test drive and ran perfect. After I left his house the car started a very weird sputtering sound, it was smoking black, and the car started stalling. Took back to my Brother in Laws garage, my foot was all the way in the pedal and the car would not pass 4k rpms and ran awful. Then he plugged the car up and the codes below came up:

P0110 IAT Sensor Circuit Malfunction,
P0100 MAF or VAF A Circuit Malfunction,
P0105 MAP/BARO Circuit Malfunction

One thing that I did find kind of strange was that when one starts the car cold, the car seems to run fine, it is when the engine heats that the problem begins, just thought thatI should point this out. What do you guys think would be the cause. From the research that I have done on this website the possible suspects might be:

-Severe Boost Leak
-MAF harness or MAF itself
-ECU

Any insight would be great.

We made sure the MAF sensor was plugged in, we took the MAF sensor out and cleaned it up. Nothing. When you say circuits and ground, you can elaborate a little on bit on the topic please? Thanks.

i would be suprised if it was a boost leak like some piping blew off. with a stock car engine wise i doubt that would happen but it wouldnt hurt to make sure all of your piping is still hooked up and everything. but about the maf wiring their should be 3 of those wires that are goin to it a power, groung and signal. you can do a voltage drop on the ground... make sure their is 12v that go to the connector or measure the hz that are coming out of the maf. hopefully you know what im talking about or have a idea of how to do this testing? all these could tell you that the maf is good!
