Ok so when im driving on the highway i'll be at about 3000 rpm in 5th and a lot of times i'll feel a sudden shutter almost like the engine stalls for a brief second and it'll drop my speed. I have the boost at about 14psi at the moment. stock fuel system. Any idea what is going on? i'm honestly not pushing it that hard at all. Not really sure how to diagnose
 
Well the best way to put fuel cut is you feel like you just hit a brick wall. The car jerks suddenly very hard and you feel like you just lost a trans. As far as knock, I would not know about that.
 
Our cars are notorious for phantom knock. You can be crusing around and all of a sudden the car seems to loose a bit of power and this can happen any where in the rpm band. When's the last time the knock sensor has been changed? If you have access, use a logger to see if your getting any knock. Fuel cut does feel pretty violent were as knock is a little bit like a stutter. If your getting 7+ counts of knock, then the ecu is definately pulling out timing......no good or should I say no fun!!!
 
Update:

Was heading down the road today going no more than 45mph and all of a sudden my car basically just dies in 4th gear. I drop down to 3rd but nothing except me coasting to the sunset. I stopped the car and put it into neutral. RPMS held at 500 and jump to 1000 then back down to 500.
Stopped the car for a few minutes and was able to get it back to my house thank god, it actually drove.

Borrowed a scanner and got the following codes:
P0105 (pd) (MAP) and P0110 (IAT).

I haven't had the chance to look around really to diagnose the codes. What do you guys think?
