So I checked compression on the engine and came up to these compression numbers: Cyl#1 85 psi cyl#2 65psi cyl#3 120psi and cyl#4 120. when i placed more coolant i left the radiator cap off and started the car and as it started coolant started to come out, like if it was a geyser. would this be a blown hg?

Hopefully its just that. Nothing more major. I checked the coolant temp gauge go high and the fans were not turning on. i turned off the engine but i guess it wasn't fast enough. If they dont turn on and all relays, wires and such are good it could be the ecu thats bad?! or am i wrong on that?

Could be a temp sensor keeping the fans off. Keep it simple and check the little things first.

never thought about that temp sensor!!! thanks guys i will get a hg and throw in a temp sen to see if those darn fans kick in.

If your system is stock then there is an easy way to check it the fans have gone out or have blown a relay. Turn on the A/C. Thats the only way to get both fans on. Normally the car only runs one fan unless you are running the A/C then it runs both. If you turn on the A/C and both fans come on then the relay is good and the problem is likely with a temp sensor. Of course this assumes you have A/C in the car to begin with. :p

Also anytime you overheat the car its not a bad idea (esp considering your mileage) to replace the thermostat and you should flush the coolent system if you are due for that as well.
