Well, heres to my first post. LOL

I searched the other postings of the Failed emissions and it seemed to not apply to me as much as i'd hoped.

I just got a rebuilt 6 bolt from a '90 gsx and swapped it into a 95 GST.
As far the problems I know about.
The rear O2 sensor is bad and it looks the the EGR Valve is blocked and (i believe) the throttle body vacuum hoses are looped.
However, I don't think this is all I have to fix to pass.
Here are the numbers for my Emissions test in Washington.

Needs fixed, also what mods due you have?

Try doing a boost leak test and checking timing and making sure maintenance is up to date.

Rear O2 sensor really isn't going to affect emissions and EGR won't be a factor since they're not measuring NOx.

You do have a catalytic converter, right? And how old is your front O2 sensor?

Yeah i have a cat and its fine the front O2 is fine, or should be. I think it might be the fuel pump or possibly the ecu but i'm not sure. Yeah i figured the EGR/Thorttle body would have no effect. Well the thing with the rear O2 sensor is it's not in there so th exhaust is leaking out of a hold. I have no idea how old the O2 sensor is. But my friend passed it with my car before i bought it with a 16g and 680 injectors but with the same O2 missing and cat. So i'm confused as to whatr i'm doing wrong

Um I bought it like this there might be a few mods i don't know about but for the most part it's stock.
Chipped ECU
4 inch can
stainless steel clutch line
FMIC piping
EGRVacuum hosing

That's all I can think of.

It's gotta be something with the 6 bolt swap ### it's almost stock.
I'm pretty sure it's not the cat but it could be the ECU.
I can take a picture of the Throttle body and EGR hosing if you'd like.

The egr lines are blocked/looped. And there is no gasket. But that really only effects nitrious oxiode. Correct me if i'm wrong.

Yeah, most people said to replace the ecu but i don't know if that'll fix it.
I'm sure fixing the rear O2 will help but i have no idea what else.

I'll take pics of the EGR in a bit.

I was actually thinking about that. But i'm not sure if it'd do much seafoaming it. I want to use a marysville address :[.

The red box is what i meant by looped.

red box is actually a red X
you should try putting in a stock ECU just to go get it tested.

Well I got tired of waiting and paid 85 to look at it.
I guess there is Air Pressure differentials in the Manifold. I have no idea what that is but yeah.
They charged me 112 for a O2 Sensor. WTF oh well i know it works..

It should pass emissions now. But dang. The Manifold is i guess about 450?
That's what they said.

I'm assuming over priced. hmph.:notgood:

Go to a junkyard or eBay. Diffibetly cheaper than 450. Unless you have a magnus on there or something.

your picture did't show up, just a nice Red X

if you need a 2g intake manifold, i have one around here somewhere for a price deff cheaper then $450 :D

I know you don't know what mods have been done but filling out what mods you know in your profile would help. Is the fuel pump stock and do you have an aftermarket fuel pressure regulator? I don't understand why you need a new intake manifold? The idle seems high which might indicate a post throttle body boost leak.

I would do this stuff:

1) boost leak test

2) oil change

3) plugs

4) wires

5) hook up rear O2 sensor (or at least plug the hole) ;)

Check out the DSM classifieds. There are always people selling intake manifolds for cheap. The big expense (unless you know how to do it or have a friend who knows that will help you) is the labor. Changing an intake manifold isn't trivial for a novice.
