im new and i have a lil problem! cold start

hi guys seems like you have a pretty good site going on over here.. i just want to say hi and introduce myself......btw i did the search and found alot of ppl that have prombles with there boosted car.. my moms is not turbo

well i have a 300zx twin turbo and i love it to death .. but I’m on a dsm site so I’ll talk about the dsm i just got for my mom....... its a 99 eclipse 10th anniversary auto leather power everything .. i bought it with 80k on it... any way i have a lil problem

Car runs great.. The old owner said he put a newt-belt on, and sparkplugs. About 2 months before i bout it.. (i bought it last week) any way the problem is when i 1st start up the car in the morning it does not idle right then it dies.. Then i start it again give it a lil gas and it stays on but if I let go sometimes it dies or it just idles really ruff but sounds like shit and shakes a bit... when it get warm it idles fine.. what’s wrong with it????

Sounds like it could be a boost leak somewhere...

it being said that is is an "anniversary edition" is it a 420a? or a turbo car? they made a 10th anniv. GS that had the GSX appearance package. if it is a 4g63 I would check the FIAV if it goes bad it will not idle worth a shit in the cold.
