Why mess with success? I can run 35psi all day long on NGK blues. $36 at summit these days too.

My 2k mile old magnecores started burning up coil packs, it would actually melt them.
5 coil packs later I decided to change the wires in a desperate attempt to fix the problem, viola, haven't burned up a coil pack yet.

There was a test done a while back on about 10 different sets of wires. I remember magnacors had the most resistance. I believe ngk blues are the best. Or nology if you like to spend money.Hey rich, i'm assuming that the resistance from the magnacore's was overworking your coils

Ive used both with good success, but I will say the NGKs fit better and are half the price

I have NGK wires which the factory also used. No problem with them at 28psi.

People have mixed reviews about them. Some would stand by them, others would keep away. Grab a set and see how it works for you.
