safc neo uninstall?

hey guys i have a question about uninstalling the safc neo,
the safc was my first tunning device till i got dsm link but it always stayd hooked up just for looks. im fully building my motor + tranny at dog box some time next month, and one off my friends would like my safc for his honda and i whant that out it just bothers me now

my question is can i just cut it from the harnes, maybe 2" 3" befor it connects to the ecu or do i need to disconnect every wire and reconnect them back?


keep in mind my car is stoped theres no fuel system. no manifold no turbo no intake manifold no intercooler no tranny "im bringing it to the shop"so i would think i can leave it cut and then have them reconnect it?

Just cut the wires out that go the the safc and electrical tape the wires that you cut out, I wouldnt cut the wires that are staying in the car.

i dont mean cut it from the ecu i whas talking about cutting the safc wire right befor the ecu connections?
