ex. cam isn't threaded for cas.

I was finishing my cam install and was trying to put the cas back on and the bolt just woulndt start so i took the cas off and out of the way only to find out that the cam isnt threaded for the cas bolt. its a 98 7bolt. Any help would be great.

is the cam made for a 95-96 cause the cas on the 98-99 are different.

Well i forgot 98-9 will require the cam to be notched to fir the cams sensor cause they are different, everyones site says the same thing.

Could you explain how to do this or maybe provide a link to a website that shows how to do this.

Unless you own a machine shop i would not try it, take it to a machine shop or a place that does motor work etc and get it cut matched to the cas

Take it to any machine shop and tell them it you need to have it tapped for 8mm x 1.25 thread, should only cost like 20 bucks.

I just got mine back from the machine shop and that's exactly what it costed- $20.
