I have a 90 turbo 2.0 Talon. It has recently started having power issues. Sometimes it would charge under heavy rpm and others it wouldn't. When I would mess with the connector on the back of the Alternator (moving the wiring harness around) sometimes it would kick back on other times not. I checked all the wires in the harness, I checked all the connectors, and everything is fine on that front. Also no Charge light when the battery is not charging.

I went to go get a new alternator when I started reading tech tips and the symptoms I'm experiencing are that of a blown indicator lamp fusible link. NowI have Looked all over the place for this and cannot find anyone who knows where it is supposed to be. When I talk to the parts guys they state that it COULD be just 2 pieces of wire that has been soldered together and heatshrinked. I find this highly unlikely but I suppose not impossible. Its supposed to be in the wire connected to the "L" post on the Alternator Connector. I can't find it to test it or to Check it. Does anyone else happen to know where I can look for this?

The alternator fusible link is located up by the D/S firewall (plactic box thinggie).

Here's some infor from the FSM:
