95 RS - P0300, P0304 + Code 43 x 2

I just traded for this car 2 days ago...it has new plugs + wires, running like crap all the time, won't take fuel sometimes. Getting code P0304, P0300, and was getting P0138 and P0139...chased that down to the rear 02, but still getting 304 and 300 and a code 43 twice on the OBDI side.

The car acts like it's starving for fuel uphill sometimes...other times, it just misses. When I first drove it the miss mostly went away above 4000 RPM. Today I was wondering if I was even going to make it home.

I pulled the #4 plug and it was covered in a sludgy looking substance.

Any suggestions?

I got this description of codes from 2GNT.com in the wiki. Code 43 looks like it has to do with your ignition system

This might be a sign of your coil pack going south or it could be other things like a fuel injector problem or compression or you just picked up a faulty plug/wire. Did you gap the plugs correctly? That might cause a problem as well.
