So I'm coming home last night and get off the highway come to a stop at the first red light and my car dies and won't start just cranks and cranks and cranks. Had it towed back to my house hooked the scanner up to it and it says "camshaft position sensor A Bank 1 circuit malfunction". So I buy a new camshaft sensor stick it in there and guess what....it still won't start. PLEASE I need this car to go to work so I have to get it fixed today! Thanks.

* I just went out and pulled a bat terminal off to clear the codes, still wont start and it just reissued the code

That's the code and I pulled the ECU last night and everythig looks ok internally. Cleaning out the housing right now because it had oil in it and it may be causing the problem, stay tuned LOL.

BAD BAD BAD news, oil pump seized, timing belt sheared off teeth on crank pulley. Great.........

that sucks man. Hate to hear that. Good luck with getting it fixed. I have a friend with a 2003 evo. Just did a nice build up on here with a gt35r. On his way home the other day the oil pump gear broke off of a brand new front cover from mitsu. Luckily he was watching his gauges and shut it down immediately. Just shows you even new parts fail.

Jus had my car taken to the shop cause it so
Wouldn't start. Was told it was cam sensor. How much should I expect to pay to have it replaced?
