tensioner pully stuck when torched.

my tensioner pulley for my timing belt locks when I tighten it down. The pully and timing components are brand new. Is there supposed to be a spacer behind the pulley?

That Bolt gets torqued & should get soft Loctite too.

If youre talking about the tensioner with the eccentric in in, dont put a washer behind it. Dont you notice that lip on the badside of the tensioner? That will eat up your timing belt if you put that washer behind it and space it out.

You need to put the belt on, then pull the pin on the tensioner, then torque the tensioner down. Youll notice with the tensioner in the correct place, it doesnt cause any problems
