Ok I did the compression test 150 all they way accross. I got good spark, and i got fuel. So i got spark, fuel, compression. My car is only running on cylinders 3 and 4. 1 and 2 do nothing. I can pull the wires right out and nothing happens. Im baffled here. Somebody please help the Newbee

If these cylinders aren't producing but have spark, I would look to see if the injectors are actuating. This can be done with a mechanics stethescope to see if they make a sharp clicking noise. If not, then look to see if they have 12 volts on one side and see if the pcm is grounding them on the other. Use a standard 12 volt test light hooked to the positive side of the battery for this.

Good Luck

Im pretty sure its getting gas to those 2 cylinders because flames will come out of the tailpipe. So im guessing its igniting in the exhaust.

Are your plugs on your coil in the right order? 4 1 2 3 is right if i remember correctly.

have you tested the ignition module/ignitor/power transistor?? Any name you want to call it, it might be bad. But check the injectors first as recommended above with a test light

You mention that you have spark, If it is running on 3-4 then his coils and ignitor are good.
I would look at the injectors themselves, stuck open might cause this condition. since 3-4 are firing you have essentially ruled out ignition because 1 and 2 share those electronics. If you have fuel (get a noid light to check injectors) I would suggest the firing order is incorrect, swap 1-2 plug wires.

Good luck

1-4 & 2-3 plugs are on seperate coils though. Mounted on the same brackets take, them apart and you'll see what i mean. Also, one side of the ignitor can fal and one stay good. Anything is possible when it comes to a DSM breaking LOL that's also why i told him to check the injector first anyway

As I said before, check all and rule out what is "odd" These vehicles are very prone especially the 89 to 94 models for the injector circuit to fail in the pcm. Check the injectors for power and then like I said before, check the drive or grounding circuit. If all else fails, go to the basics. Compression, spark, fuel pressure, injector power and drive. One of those should find what you are looking for.

He said spark on 3 and 4. 3 shares with 2 and 4 shares with 1 ignition is good

Yes what he's trying to tell you is that it's possibly for just 3 to fail and not to. And for just 4 to fail and not 1. Possible but doubtful. I would say to check out the ECU and make sure nothing funny is going on there.

I'm having similiar issues on my new engine swap. Where is this ground your talking about? I know I might've over looked something during the install because I didn't have all my vaccuums hooked up. I'm going to try and test my injectors when I get there to see if that's the source, but I'd also like to make sure this is grounded since I didn't know there was one in the first place.

Also, do you think it has anything to do with the CAS being off? I know I switched it around a few times before I actually got the engine to turn over and Idle on it's own power, so maybe it's 180 degrees off?

Any help is appreciated.

but that doesn't happen because it is wasted spark only 2 coils

When you turn the key on, you supply the coils and injectors with 12 volts through the ignition switch. The coils are grounded through the ignition module. The injectors are grounded through the power train control module. Take a cheap mechanics stethescope and listen to the injectors while cranking over to see if they make a clicking noise.
