recirc/fresh air knob not working

My fresh/recirc knob works (turns both ways), but it is always fresh.... meaning I can always feel a lil air coming out.. Where should I check to fix this?

The foam seal around the edge of the door is undoubtedly long-gone by now, but it can also be a matter of a slipped or bent control push/pull wire.

I'll definitely check that.. I think it is the wire/rod ........
