I picked up a parts car 99 GS OZ edition with 30K miles hit in front driver side but complete including black leather interior :D so yadayda I swapped as much as I could into my 97 ESI from the car, but I want to throw in the keyless entry since I re-keyd all the locks to conform to the 99 set.

So heres what I understand the keyless entry is also the factory security system. Since I only want to run the keyless system that should cut out a number of wires that I need to splice inorder for it to work. Now heres what I have to work with

I have the keyless moduel that mounts behind the reardriver panel
I have the complete interior wiring harness out of the car. Theres actually 2 pieces to the wiring harness that is located inside the car.. I was hoping is would just clip the part with the keyless wiring into mine, but nope...no plug for it.

and after browsing the interner I ran across this ( go to page 11 ) http://www.ecanfix.com/users/manualcd/gift/dsm/2g_doorlock_window_circuit_diagrams.pdf

I think the box at the bottom right of the page labeled transmitter is the keyless module. But I dont have a clue how to read that damn wiring diagram...so If someone could maybe check out all this stuff I have provided and just let me know what wires go where That would be awesome Tomorrow I will snap a pic of the harness tomorrow and hope I can get some help untill then...Its just got to be a matter of hooking it up to power source/ground and then to the correct doorlock splicings. Thanks in advance

also I took this from another post...its got the door lock colors and stuff...hope this helps..I would love to get this figured out so I can make a write up for people to grab the keyless systems from cars at junk yards and use them. Thanks

You'll be able to skip over the parts that go to work the anti-theft horn, flash the lights and disable the starter. But I'm not going to try and go over a wiring diagram by email.

Thats what I was thinking the lights, horn, security light and other sensors could all be skipped probably just need the ground/power then left and right door lock power/ground and then the wire that runs to the antenna for reception.

I was justthinking of swapping the complete 3 harnesses in my car but its was kindof a bi*** to get the 2 interior ones out with the complete interior removed...

Anyone got any wiring advise from that diagram?

Ok I snapped these today...my question is if I cut the connectors out of the harness what wires would I have to splice them into on my wiring harness.

PIC 1 the Module
PIC 2 the smaller hanrness
PIC 3 the bigger harness
PIC 4 shows they run up along the door to those blue clips to the right of the module

I just want the labeling for the wiring. Like left door power, right do power. ground, antenna, power wiring. If thats to much let me know. Thanks for the help so far too:thumb:
