Milton,
Can someone show me or tell me the easist to pull a front wheel bearing out of my 92 talon

Pull off the knuckle and have it pressed out and a new one presed in. There isn't really an easy way to get it out only the 1 way. Have the hub pressed out and the bearing pressed out.

Yep thats about it too. Pop off the tie rod end, ball joint and dissconnect the spindle from the strut, push the axle out and take it to a machine shop or somewhere with a big press and it gets pressed out and back in and on.

no no no. You want to avoid having to have it pressed? Buy a whole hub. mentor mitsubishi, a stealership, sells them for pretty cheap. I think 110 or so. New lug studs, new hub, and new bearing already pressed in and greased. That way, all you have to do is beat out the hub. I've done it 3 times like this, so much easier than taking a risk of someone pressing them in wrong.

I looked it up on Mentor Mitsu since I'm also looking for a hub (though rear for mine).
They have the FWD front hub for $154.82.
Same price for AWD. Anyone ordered from them? Are these mitsu parts or generic? Cheaper than generic parts at my local autozone, so I may go through these guys for my rear hub.

Not pressing the bearing in is only for 2G's because we cannot replace the wheel bearing without replacing the whole hub. 1G's can replace just the wheel bearing without a problem. But for a 2G, you have to get the whole hub assembly.

Front hub for 2G FWD - MR455004 - $145.14
Rear hub for 2G FWD - MB892408 - $126.05

Those are both OEM parts from Southwest Mitsubishi.

I would check to see what they had at local auto parts stores. Some parts from these stores have a lifetime warranty :thumb: Either that or it may just be cheaper and easier to get from the local stores. They're usually the same quality. I just replaced both of my front hubs this summer. I bought them through my mechanic for about $100 each. They were not OEM, but seem to be really good quality and they look 150% better than my old, rusty hubs :D

I'm probably going to go JNZ tuning. Locally, the autozone/advanced auto/napa have the hubs for around $180 (95 AWD rear ABS) or more, and only have a 3 month warranty(!). JNZ have the rears for about 130-140, and I think the default is 1 yr warranty unless noted.
