I am having a problem with my car not starting.

It is a 95GST with mods in my profile.

I am not getting any spark on cylinders 1 and 4. I have changed the plugs and plug wires. I also changed the MAS. I AM getting fire on cylinders 2 and 3. I tested the 1/4 coilpack and the test results were off, so I bought and installed a new one, and still I am not getting any fire to 1/4.

Would a CAS going bad cause this, or is this a wiring harness/ECU problem.

Any input is appreciated.

I'm thinking it's the Cam Angle Sensor. When my CAS went bad only half the coils would work. Somtimes it would start up fine but once the engine was warmed up and I turned it off the same thing would happen only 2 coils would fire. To get it running on all four all I would have to do was cross the firing coil to the non firing coil. Then all four coils would continue firing.

YES it hurt like hell the first few times I tried it and found a way to minimize the shock I would get but until I got a new CAS it was the only way to ensure it would run on all four.

Well I changed out the Coilpack, and transistor..........still not cranking. All the wiring looks good from the CAS/Transistor/coils to the ECU. I am going to change the CAS out when I get back home form offshore.

When I put the new coil in I did not bolt it down....i.e.- I left it hanging by the valve cover with all the connections connected.....but not screwed down to where its supposed to be. Would this cause some type of grounding issue and cause the coil not to fire even if it is a good coil?

Occasionally I've heard this produces weak spark (http://www.dsmtuners.com/forums/showthread.php?p=151289292#post151289292). But you say you're firing 2&3 plugs and not 1&4 at all so I'd say it's most likely the CAS.
