I am trying to figure out how much oil pressure a 2g awd with a 5 speed and a 6 bolt with no BS is usually going to have running in 5th gear at 3,000 rpms (which is 60mph)

This car is getting 20lbs at 3,000rpms which does not sound right to me
and we are on the 2nd set of rod bearings in it ..the 1st set was the Clevites and I thought they where just bad and wore out quick so replaced them with ACL bearings ...there is nothing wrong with the bearings now but after doing this decided to put a aftermarket oil pressure gauge on it and the choice was autometer

Thanks

Did you turn the bearings where the balance shafts were so that it blocked the oiling holes?

My 2g AWD 6 bolt with BS removed and no oil squirters has about 80-90psi at 3000 RPMs. Mine's a little high because I haven't ported the relief valve yet. 20psi does seem kinda low for 3000 RPMs though.

well not sure on that one .....becuase the car was bought from a friend (well I thought was a friend) and have had more than a fair share of problems ....as of right now a local shop is replacing the oil pump and just trying to get a idea for when we do get it back

got a friend with a 1g with no BS at 3k getting between 50 & 55psi
