98 gsx wont start tunrs over but wont start

I just replaced my crankshaft and new timing belt all new bearings pretty buch all new parts and i put the motor in but it wont start. Its turning over but wont start. It is getting fuel but jsut wont start any suggestions. Its getting spark to.

Be sure that the base timing is set correctly. Also make sure the plug wires are firing in the correct order. If they are not, the plugs will not fire on the right engine stroke. Only other thing could be bad compression, but that is probably not our problem.

check your compression -- that way you know that the cams are aligned properly.

that happened to me. its either the cam postition sensor or crank sensor. cheap fix. tell us what happens.
