Can't bleed clutch system

Ive been trying to bleed my clutch and I cant seem to get all of the air out of the system. It's a fairly new master and slave and a -4 braided line joining them. There are no leaks anywhere and Ive tryed for almost an hour with a buddy, pumping the pedal and loosening the bleeder over and over. The pedal will not firm up at all but if I disconnect the arm on the master from the pedal assembly there is definitely pressure built in the system because it wants to spring out. Im out of ideas.

The Tech Articles are a useful resource.
I'll advocate this method: How to properly bleed your hydraulic clutch

Yeah I just read that earlier today. Ill give that a try and see if I can get it to hold. If it doesnt work Im going to try swapping out the slave and see if I get the same results. Thanks for the link.

Do it alone. Get under the front (Rhino ramps are great for DSMs), crack the bleeder, push in the slave pushrod. Close the bleeder. Let the slave return spring draw fresh fluid into the cylinder. Crack the bleeder, repeat. Top up the reservoir. Repeat twice more. Give it 200 miles and do it again.
If you're doing it with an assistant, don't bother with pumping it up, just crack the bleeder, pump once, close the bleeder, and repeat a few times. Pumping just moves the bubbles back and forth, and you're up against enough bother in trying to get the bubbles to move downhill from the master to the slave.
The very best way is to use a MityVac to draw up from the bottom, all the way from a reservoir attached to the bleeder up to the master, but you have to make sure the threads on the bleeder aren't letting air in.

Well I tried the two methods posted above but Im doing this by myself and it's taking a lot longer than expected. Anyway, Ive got it to the point where there is resistance in the system but the pedal still doesnt come up after being pushed in. I think there is still some air trapped somewhere and Ill try to bleed it again when I get an extra hand. Thanks.
