Time Til Death?...help!

What you guys think I have left on these tires? Think they would survive one last 2 hour dyno session. Or might they explode? I just got a SBR intercooler for a 2g and an EVO MAF. Want to get her tuned before I get new tires in a week or two. I just changed the right tire to the back and the left one (on the belt a little) to the front.
I think I can still get another 500 or so miles from them.

Any thoughts?

They are Yokohama Advan A046. The Evo comes stock with them. Does that mean they are better made so that the belt would be better than a conventional tire?

Ya, you probably have around 300-400 miles on those. I've had ones way worse and they lasted for a couple months, in fact they never even exploded...just bought new ones

Follow your car so you can see the belts sparking.
I'd be surprised if a dyno owner would let you run those on their machine.

Personally I'd replace those immediately. And get an alignment, as it looks like yours is off.

I would doubt a Dyno owner would strap your car down with tires that looked that rough. Then again some Dynos (Dynapack) use those hub adapter thinggies so tires would not even touch the ground

Those were toast a long time ago, thats crazy that you have that on your car. Buy some new ones before they blow and you wreck your rims or worse your car.

I had a similary worn set many years ago and had two severe understeering episodes that I luckily managed to correct in time, but my luck ran out on my third and plowed straight into a lamp post (at work no less) .

Morale of story, get new tires
