dyno/ bad hp help!!!

I have a 1996 eagle talon tsi automatic with upgraded injectors , walboro 255, evo 3 manifold, 3 inch turbo back exhaust, ajustable fuel pressure regulator, big t28, apexi neo and a boost controller. I dyno tuned my car today and we turned to boost up to 16 pounds and the most hp i was able to see was 172hp i was expecting way more does that look correct or is something wrong?

Did you do a boost leak test and compression test on your car? Do you have a logger?

motor was taken out of another gst about 2 months ago did the compression test then and it was good. did not do a boost leak test but i check all my vacum hoses and tighten all my clamps. Those numbers are bad right?

well i tore up my engine and broke my throddle body but i found out that i had 4 vacum hoses that were not connected and one was broke. so im guessing thats why i dynoed so low but i will fix the throddle body tomorrow and i see if i see any difference.

It sounds like you had a severe boost leak when you dynoed. Be sure to eliminate all of them completely before having it dynoed again to get accurate results.

I have exactly the same problem... But I have an 'almost' stock 95 GST though...

My engine has the balance shafts removed, a cone air filter and OML 10.3mm spark plugs wires... BPR6ES NGK's spark plugs...

ANd I dynoed 125 hp.... .... Can my problem be related to boost leak too?

yeah im guessing they are because those numbers suck.

one of the vacum hoses on the car spilt into 3 with a T. does it matter where i put what vacum hose?
