Clutch?

Ok I got off work yesturday. Everything was running fine. I get in my car today and my clutch pedal has alot of play, and first and reverse are giving me trouble shifting into... I'm I going to need a new clutch, or should I just get a tranny flush?

Try bleeding the clutch lines, and checking you slave and master cylinder for any leaks. It sounds more like air in the lines than a faulty clutch.

So I should just bleed the system and refill?

Bleed and fill if it is low.


Future refrence a tranny flush would not really effect clutch engagement.

Yea I figured as much. I pumped my clutch for a minute and the pressure built back up. but I'm going to bleed the lines, and refill it tomorrow...
