Well, i tried searching throughout the forum but the one i found which has similar issue was back from 04' and it didn't even have any fix post to it. Anyway, here is what happened; i started the car and suddenly died and the dashboard light went off, then i tried it again, and as soon as the key in to "on" the lights lit up but suddenly shuts off. now, the car woulnd't do anything at all, in any key position,.. none, no dashboard light. but heres the weird thing, my keyless entry(alarm) works just fine, my headlights, hazard, and brakelight. therefore, my battery is in its full capability(did try to jump it but nothing happened). also, my key indicator and interior lamp works, but thats about all what is working. it blows, i don't have any clue what it is. i knew i had started problem prior to this so i went ahead and change the starter, but that didn't take care of it. it is obviously not my alternator since my battery still works fine. i am going to replace my ignition switch amp(30A) and fusible link(100A), but i doubt it'll be the fix. the sad thing is that my power windows doesn't work and both halfway down. i couldn't take it up to my garage because it is uphill. anyway, any help will be greatly appreciated. what do you guys think? thanks..

thanks for the respond. but yes, thats actually the first thing i did. i am going to replace/check my ignition switch to see if theres any faulty connection there. so hopefully something happens, if not, i don't know where else to look for. thanks

i have not really look into that yet, but i checked the fuse box next to the ecu and while i was checking it there wasn't any foul smell at all. i'll wait till monday to work on the car, so i hope to find something.
